Although this was around in the late 80s thanks to games like Pong, Pacman and Asteroids it is only in recent years that the masses have started to pick up video games and play them. It is a major industry now and one that is worth almost as much as music and film combined because of the sheer number of people that play them. older people are starting to pick up on the video games too which is great, it is not always just about the younger people now. of course a lot of this was down to the fact the Wii was released but it worked.
this has been popular for many years indeed and it would still seem people love building model kits. I would say it has managed to stay near the top because it is one that is always updated. You will not see that a RC helicopter from the 90s looks anything like the ones around today. The same goes for other things like Hornby train sets. It is a hobby that contains a lot of passion and it is this passion that strives things forward a lot.
